Scar (CofD)

Scars, also known as Scars of the Time Before, are wounds upon reality inflicted by said time.[1] They tend to take the form of spells attached to geographic features, such as a wasteland marked by an effect that shatters a ghost's anchors and rebinds the ghost to the landscape.[1]

Of the more notable types of scars are regions of Shattered Time. These take the form of crystalline structures that pierce the land.[1] Time, near these structures, is disjointed; one may leave the place before ever arriving.[2] Remaining for long periods of time alters one's physical capabilities, and using Time magic tends to lead to explosive results.[2]
