Second Moon

The Second Moon is a festival of the Middle Kingdom that celebrates the birthdays of many gods.

Overview

This Moon Festival is particularly important to the shinma because the celebrations made throughout the month are dedicated to the Sun God and the earth-bound gods... the hsien themselves. The birthdays of Kuan Yin: the goddess of love and compassion, Confucius, and Lao Tze are also celebrated during this month.
