Sept of the Hand of Gaia
Sept of the Hand of Gaia is a caern in upstate New York. According to Garou lore, it was formed when Gaia reached down, scooped out corruption from the area, and sanctified it. The totem is Life of the Nation, a potent but distant spirit. The sept has yet to determine the nature of this spirit.[1]The first Black Furies in North America vowed there to protect women in the New World.[2][3] Alani Astarte was its leader until she was replaced by Kula Wiseblood.
At one point in time, it was formerly known as the Sept of Gaia's Graceful Paw and held jointly by the Wendigo, Uktena and Croatan.[4]
