Detective Inspector Simmons was a mortal resident of London during Victorian times.

Overview

Hired on to solve a case of serial murders among the destitute, Simmons unknowingly found aid in the help of the local changeling population, specifically a woman named Old Meg, who directed him toward Lord Worthing and his Hearthstone Asylum.

Unfortunately, when he followed up on the lead by interviewing Lady Eleanor Worthing, she wiped his mind of any suspicion of her or her husband via some form of fae magic — likely either a Contract of some kind or a Token.
