Symbiote

A Symbiote is a Form of Deviant that possesses two consciousnesses simultaneously within the same body.

Overview

A Symbiote shares her body with another mind. This other consciousness has its own goals and motivations, which may be in harmony or opposition to the Deviant's own will. The consciousness may at times interfere with the Deviant's actions if it stands to gain by doing so. However, the consciousness cannot exert direct control over the Deviant's body.

The goals of a Symbiote's other consciousness take the form of a Baseline's Aspirations.

A Symbiote differs from an Amalgam or the Alternate Personality Scar in that the other consciousness is almost always present in the Deviant's mind, and does not have direct control over the Deviant's body.
