Telekinesis (Trinity)
- For the quantum power from Aberrant, see Telekinesis (Ab).
The Telekinesis Mode of psychokinesis features of the following powers:
- • Tow: the psion can move objects. The mass of the object they can move is limited; if the target is too heavy, Tow only allows for a short drag. Multiple objects can be moved, but only if their total mass doesn't exceed the psion's capacity and they are all moving in the same direction.
- •• Remote Manipulation: the psion can do actions requiring finesses, such as picking a lock or pulling a trigger.
- ••• Force Barrier: The psion can create a barrier that slows or even stops high-speed objects, such as bullets or fists. The barrier does not stop energy or gas attacks, and the psion cannot attack through the barrier, either.
- •••• Flight: the psion can fly under their own power.
- ••••• Slingshot: the psion can accelerate an object to high speeds, capable of doing serious damage on impact.[1]
Alternate powers:
- • Deafen: The psion creates a thunderclap by compressing and release air molecules. The noise is intense enough to temporarily deafen people in the area, and possible daze them.
- •• Pressure Control: The psion can manipulate the density of the local atmosphere, creating bubbles of high or low pressure.
- ••• Sound Control: By controlling the medium of propagation, the psion can create, silence or change sounds.
- •••• Choreography: The psion "programs" a series of movements into an object which unfold over time.
- ••••• Constructive Interference: By applying a precise, intense vibration to an object, the psion can damage or even destroy it.[2]
Telekinetic powers that target a living being or something else capable of independent movement can be contested. This means it's usually easier for the telekinetic to fling projectiles at their target than to fling the target itself.[3]
