Tetonalmacantin

The tetonalmacantin, or those who cure the tonalli, were nominally a group of Aztec priests who dedicated themselves to healing lost, diseased or sickened tonalli, the Aztec term for a person's destiny.[1] In truth, they were an Agency whose leaders used the priesthood to gather Pacts and information.[2] The head of the agency, Ms. Pristine, favored the Cover Chipahua, a priest, but was also known to utilize the wealthy trader Ueman.[2]
