Timoroi

Timoroi, or "frightening ones", were both a left-handed legacy, now known as the Timori, and a general term used for sorcerers who hunt down their own kind during the Hellenistic period.[1]

Overview

Almost always existing on the outskirts of Awakened culture, lacking a darshana or cult, Timoroi frequently faced a traumatic Awakening or some other great spiritual pain.[2] This trauma led them to the conclusion that humanity was unworthy of magic entirely.[2]

Usually ignorant of the nuances of magic, the only exception were a dangerous group of Reapers who were known by their fellows in ages past as Eumenides and in modern times as Timori.[1]
