Warlock: The Pretension was part of Black Dog Game Factory's World of Shadow setting, and was developed by Jeff Henning (or was it?).

Warlocks employ supernatural powers known as "Sexe Magicque."[1]

Background Information

Warlock is a parody of White Wolf Game Studio's Mage: The Ascension RPG.

The subtitle is a parody of the tendency of Mage's fanbase to take their hobby too seriously. The grotesque spelling of "sexe magicque" is a parody of Mage's use of the phrase "true magick."
