White Wolf and Partners take Exalted to New Heights
"Interplay Entertainment Corp., producers of such best-selling video games as Hunter: The Reckoning (also based on a white wolf property), the award-winning Icewind Dale series, and the mega-selling Baldur's Gate series, has secured the rights to produce interactive Exalted games. "We recognize the enormous following of this franchise and look forward to bringing our gaming expertise to the Exalted license," said Jim Monitor, Vice President of Product Development for Interplay. "The premise and richness of Exalted make it uniquely suited for translation onto the next-generation video game systems." No announcements have yet been made about platforms or release dates."
"Those who like their gaming unplugged can also look forward to the Exalted Trading Card Game (TCG), produced by White Wolf's own Card Games Department. "We're bringing Exalted's rich setting, cinematic battles and anime-styled art to a trading card game format," said Steve Wieck, Director of Card Game Development at White Wolf, "and we're not settling for the same tired TCG game mechanics. We're going to let a massive number of playtesters put this game through its paces to test out some unique play mechanics and strategies."
Also Exalted Miniatures by Reaper Miniatures, Exalted Manga series (192 page volumes) beginning in early 2004, and all-new Exalted Series Novels.
While the Miniatures and Novels came out and the Comics were set back by one year, the Video Game and TCG were never produced.

A New Age of Trading Card Games for the Second Age of Exalted
Those who like their gaming unplugged can also look forward to the Exalted trading card game (TCG), produced by White Wolf's own card games department. "We're bringing Exalted's rich setting, cinematic battles and anime-styled art to a trading card game format," said Steve Wieck, Director of Card Game Development at White Wolf, "and we're not settling for the same tired TCG game mechanics. We're going to let a massive number of playtesters put this game through its paces to test out some unique play mechanics and strategies.
In fact, anyone interested in seeing the Exalted TCG develop from the ground up should go to www.white-wolf.com/exaltedtcg and become part of the playtest."
