- Holotype: SMF 34909.
- Type locality: Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah, Sharm Obhur, 21°42'30"N, 39°05'44"E, coral-reef slope, 17 m depth.
- Etymology: The specific name alludes to the various brown and white markings reminiscent of a cappuccino.
