Holotype: SAMP26768.
Type locality: "collected from a 6 m interval of sandstone interbedded with claystone, 130 m above the base of the Rawnsley Quartzite in a section (S31) near the eastern end of the Chace Range" (Flinders Ranges, South Australia, Australia).
