Asplenium × tyrrhenicum Cubas, Pangua & Rosselló, Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 44: 534 (1987).
- Typus: Menorca: Mongofre Nou, al pie de grandes paredes de areniscas en sitios resguardados, sobre suelo profundo, 31SFE0427, 31 Jan 1987, P. Cubas, E. Pangua & J.A. Rosselló (Holotype: MAF 127162).

- Holotype: Spain, Balearic Islands, Menorca: Among shrubs on a gentle slope above the gravel road at the outskirts of the village named Cala Mesquida (on the way to the bay "Cala Mezquida"), northeast of Mahón, 10 m alt., 15 Oct 1986, H.W. Bennert, H. Rasbach & K. Rasbach. A single plant was found, collected living and since then cultivated in Basel under reference number TR-6544; whole plant pressed on 6.9.1987; holotype: B.
