Typus: Greece, Kriti, E Montibus Albis (Lefka Ori) insulae Cretae, ubi loco Ammoutzara dicto, alt. 1800 m supra maris aequor, in fissuris rupium calcarearum vigebat, e sporis speciminis Greuter 7544 cultus, TR-3030 (Holotypus: BM; isotypi: G, K, P, ZT).
