Name
Caddella croeseri Staręga, 1988: 529.
Type locality: South Africa, Cape Province: Diepwalle Forest Station [22 km northeast of Knysna (33°57'S: 23°1O'E), elevation 600 meters]. (Note: Staręga, 2008 notes that "a locality in KwaZulu-Natal" in the original description "is most probably wrong", likely that for his original female 'allotype'. From additional material, that locality is later again said as plausible in Lotz, 2011: 5).
Typus: Holotype ♂ NMSA 405 (plus paratypes and nominated allotype [see note above])
