- Hershkovitz (1991) cites Werdermann 1046 (leg. Francke; UC, US [US03613509 (1474434)(GBIF), collected on November 1925]) as an occurrence of this species in Antofagasta, being worried about misidentification. The US specimen was re-determined with C. chrysantha? by D. Ford in March 1996.
