Note: : Girard & Kothe-Heinrich (2020) proposed to conserve the spelling Kyphocarpa. The Nomenclature Committee decided that Kyphocarpa (Fenzl) Lopr is the correct spelling. "Cyphocarpa cannot be attributed to Lopriore alone as a nomen novum, which makes the proposal unnecessary." (Applequist, 2023)
