- Holotype: UADBA 43677, adult ♂, body in alcohol, with skull and baculum removed, collected by Richard B. Jenkins on 25 September 2002.
- Type locality: “Madagascar: Province d’Antananarivo, Anjozorobe, Amboasary, 18°24.295'S, 47°56.699'E”.
