- Type locality: Touert near Chaudon, France; marl bed at the Bajocian-Bathonian boundary, Middle Jurassic.
- Paratypes: GZG.INV.78509 and GZG.INV.78510.
- Etymology: named after Wolfgang Prebeck “Wolfi”, a friend of the author.
