Mangifera sumatrana Miq., Fl. Ned. Ind. 1(2): 631 (1859)

Note: placed under M. longipes Griff. [= M. laurina Blume] by Mukherji (1949) and Hou (1978), and then under M. laurina by Kostermans & Bompard (1993), but reinstated by Fitmawati et al. (2022).
Typus: Jugnhuhn s.n. (Opper-Angkola [= Hochangkola], Sumatra, [Indonesia]; in flower; Holotypus: U [currently incorporated into L; cf. U 0000201 (34844)^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, as 'Type', no annotation with explicit reference to Junghuhn]; Isotypus: L 0015719 (sheet 897.363-545)^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}).
