- Type locality: CHINA, Yunnan: Menglun Town: Xishuangbanna Botanical Garden, 21°55.035'N, 101°16.500'E, elevation ca 558 m, primary tropical seasonal rain forest.
- Holotype: IZCAS, male ♂. 22.VII.2007. legit G. Zheng.
- Etymology: Its Latin origin ‘inaffectus’ means ‘natural and simple’, which refers to the simplicity of the structure of the male pedipalp; adjective.
