- Holotype: FMNH 209160, adult ♀, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by Steven M. Goodman and Beza Ramasindrazana on 5 December 2009.
- Type locality: “Madagascar: Province de Toamasina, Forêt de Sahafina, 9.5 km W Brickaville, 18°48'37"S, 48°58'48"E, 50 m”.
