- Holotype: EBD 29831, adult ♂, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by I. Salicini, C. Ibáñez and J. Juste on 18 July 2011.
- Type locality: “Mizou Cave, Tetouan, Morocco (ca. 35°30’42”N, 5°19’53”W), at an altitude of 330 m a.s.l.”
