Pingasa dispensata (Walker, 1860)
Type locality: India "North Hindostan"
Typus: Syntypes: ♂♀, NHMUK. Lectotype ?. Mr. James' collection.
Synonyms
- Hypochroma distensata Walker, 1860: 435. Protonym
- Pingasa dispensata (Walker, 1860): Seitz, 1920: 49 (as "Bengal")
- Hypochroma celata Walker, 1866: 1594. Protonym. (Specifies as ♀ Locality: "Tond" [India?, Uttar Pradesh or Rajasthan], "Mr Saunders' collection". However, Lepindex card reads "Celebes" [=Sulawesi])
- Pingasa dispensata (Walker, 1860); Seitz, 1920: 49 Plate 8,b [vol.12] (notes "said to be from Tondano, Celebes, but series before me is from Timor and Tenimber")
