Plecotus gaisleri Benda, Kiefer, Hanák & Veith, 2004
- Holotype: NMPr P6V-049911, adult ♀, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by Petr Benda, Antonín Reiter, Vladimír Hanák, Michal Andreas and Marcel Uhrinon 20 May 2002.
- Type locality: “Central part of the Wadi Al Kuf (Jabal Akhdar Mts), ca. 8 km south-west of Massah, Al Jabal Al Akhdar Dist., Cyrenaica, north-eastern Libya, 32°42'N, 21°35'E; ca. 330 m a.s.l.”
