Typus: F.R. Fosberg 32189 ([17–19 March 1950]; holotypus: US [cf. US01155459 (3142122), without any type indication]; isotypi: A, BISH [1.00E+06], K, MO, P [cf. P04953841, without any type indication]; cf. BISH [613402]).
Type locality: Palau. Urukthapel Island: north coast of SW peninsula, around small lake, on upper slopes and ridges.
