- Holotype: ZFMK 1999.934, adult ♂, skull and postcranial skeleton, collected by H. Vierhaus on 12 August 1992.
- Type locality: “western edge of Sérédou near park station, border of "Réserve de la Biosphère du Massif du Ziama", Guinée Forestière, Guinea”.
