Holotype: NSMT-Co 1613, collected by Takato Izumi on 26 June 2014.

Type locality: “Kopepe Seashore, Chichijima Island, Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, Japan (27°3'52"N, 142°11'33"E), coral sand at 1 m depth”.
