Name

Sigmoria pendulata Shelley, 1986.

Type locality: United States of America, Tennessee, DeKalb County, Edgar Elvins State Park.

Typus: Holotype NCSM-A2650 [later reported as USNM in later catalogs], 09-V-1979, legit. Shelley, R.M & R.K. Tardell; Paratype 5 s, 5 s (same data as Holotype).

  • Sigmoria (Falloria) pendulata Shelley, 1986: in Shelley & Whitehead, 1986: 142, figs. 121-124. Protonym
  • Falloria pendula [sic] (Shelley, 1986); Hoffman, 1999: 310. Comb. nov.; misspelling of epithet suffix repeated in Marek, Tanabe & Sierwald, 2014: 22; or as correct Falloria pendulata (Shelley, 1986); Marek & Bond, 2007: 37 (but which some catalogs annotate as erroneous spelling).
  • Sigmoria pendula [sic] Shelley, 1986; in supplement to Means et al. 2021: S37. Rest. comb.
