- Type locality: eastern tip of Sanak Island, Alaska (54.39°N, 162.54°W).
- Holotype: 1 September 2021; high intertidal pool; UBC; A90118, SCL 15161 (fig. 19). TufA sequence (GenBank MW921464), ITS sequence (GenBank MW939397).
