Type locality: CHINA: Zhejiang Province: Lishui City, Longquan County, Fengyang Mountain National Nature Reserve (27º52'49.46"N, 119º10'10.76"E, 1494 a.s.l.)

Holotype: MHBU. male ♂. 29.IV.2016. legit Yannan Mu.

Synonymy

Xilithus pugious Mu & Zhang, 2023: 93 (specific epithet is a not existing adjective derived from the Latin pugio = dagger, taken here as the noun pugio).
