いちびり

Noun form of いちびる (ichibiru); derived from 市(いち)振(ぶ)り (ichiburi), noun form of 市(いち)振(ぶ)る (ichiburu), from old dialectal idiom 市(いち)を振(ふ)る (ichi o furu, “to determine the price by waving one's hand at the bidding”, literally “to wave the market”), from the clamorous situations of fishery wholesaler's bidding.
