- Dàtóng sān nián sānyuè yǐchǒu, suìxīng yǎn jiànxīng. Zhān yuē: “Yǒu fǎnchén.” Qí nián Kuàijī shānzéi qǐ. Qí qīnián, jiāozhōu cìshǐ Lǐ Bì jǔbīng fǎn. [Pinyin]
- In the third year of Datong era (537) on the day of Yichou in the third month (25 April), Jupiter occulted Jianxing (a star group comprising six stars within the constellation Sagittarius). The divination stated: "There will be a rebellious minister." In the same year, bandits rose in Mount Kuaiji. In the seventh year of that era (541, but the incident occurred in 542 since it was in the twelfth month), the governor of Jiaozhou (modern Liangguang and North Vietnam) Ly Bi rose in revolt.
