Etymology
A compound suffix made up of -돗〮- (-twós-, emotive suffix) + -ᄋᆞ〮ᅌᅵ- (-óngì-, polite suffix) + -다〮 (-tá, declarative mood suffix). The 2nd vowel was assimilated in roundedness by the previous one.[1] The polite version of -도〮다〮 (-twótá, emotive declarative suffix).
