drip tip (plural drip tips)

  1. (botany) An elongated leaf tip from which excess water can drip harmlessly, as found in plants of the rainforest.
    Synonyms: drip point, dripping point
  2. (entomology) An elongated extension to the wall of a structure, such that unwanted water drips off, as found in the nests of some species of rainforest paper wasps.
  3. An attachment for an e-cigarette that drips e-liquid directly onto the atomizer.
