  • The Forsaken of Bristol oust the spirit lord Seham Nih-Saharra.[1]
  • Europe faces Le Grand Hiver, which causes the deaths of nearly 600,000 from starvation. This, combined with the earlier cold summers and long winters of 1693-1694, leads many Winter monarchs to refuse to relinquish their crowns.[2]
