  • Jacob Hite finishes translating the Rite of Hecate. He sacrifices Maecenas and temporarily gains magical powers. He forms the Promethean Brotherhood to try to understand why the rite doesn't work.[1]
  • Alaska "loses" twelve days as the calendar switches from the Russian (Julian) calendar to the American (Gregorian) system. Unchained suspect those twelve days went somewhere.[2]
  • The Order of Myths krewe is founded in Mobile, Alabama.[3]
