Events

• 20 years before Marconi unveils his wireless, David Hughes invents a device capable of sending and receiving electromagnetic signals. To his surprise, there are already signals being transmitted.^[1]
• Doctor Ignatius Hopper experiences a breakdown, taking a leave of absence from Sanitarium and leaving it in the hands of Doctor Albert Cave, one of the senior staff. Cave begins shifting the sanitarium's focus toward mental illness.^[2]
• By this year, Anjali Khamali Ward is the undisputed leaders of the Daughters of Ravana.^[3]
• Ship captain Sava Vaselko, in a move that makes him the target of much ridicule among bureaucrats and clerks, files claims to the city of Atlantis in all countries within a 20 nautical mile radius from where he expects it to be (i.e. within the Bermuda Triangle).^[4]
