  • Two cabals, the White Putnams and the Ebon Noose, come to Salem after the witch craze dies down and begin to struggle for dominion.[1]
  • Bishopsgate Asylum for the Insane faces a case of arson in the East Wing when a mob of patients gathers to protest the poor conditions under which they suffer. 17 staff members and 116 patients die.[2]
