Cameron Mueller

Cameron Muller is a highly-intelligent, religious serial killer imprisoned in Bishopsgate Mental Asylum. His attending physician is Doctor Payton Oliver.

Overview

I’ll thank you not to cast aspersions on my methods of spiritual expressions. They are as meaningful to me as your own expressions — mine just have the misfortune of also being unacceptable in society today.

Transferred to Brentwood State Hospital in 1968 after murdering his maternal grandparents at what he believed to be the whims of God, Muller was returned to his parents after displaying a remarkably calm demeanor for his five years there. Only three years later, he returned to killing, starting with Annabelle Tate, a nineteen-year-old whom he vivisected and partially consumed. He was not caught until turning himself in after he had successfully killed and cannibalized fourteen more victims over the next eight years.

Now kept in a high-security cell at Bishopsgate, Muller seems to believe he misinterpreted the omens that led him to turn himself in. He thinks that he must continue his work.

As with the majority of characters based in World of Darkness: Asylum, the authors provide a number of possible options concerning Muller’s nature:

  • Option One: Muller is a psychopath who has cultivated his disorder through his murders. He is a mortal who is entirely unconnected to anything supernatural.
  • Option Two: The killer’s murders and cannibalism have fueled a kind of necromantic power. Now, Muller is capable of communing with and commanding the dead within Bishopsgate. The man is, unfortunately, on the cusp of Awakening.
  • Option Three: Muller no longer exists. His empty husk of a body has become coopted by the spider spirits known as Azlu. Muller has since begun to create more of these husks within the facility.
