Christie Reese

Christie Reese is a fence operating in the town where David D'Angelo runs a kidnapping ring. She is his latest victim.

An otherwise-shrewd woman, her difficulties in picking up others’ tells led to her failure to note that she was marked by Chen as a good target after signing into his motel with a false name. Reese was shortly thereafter restrained by Sheriff Ostler and stolen away to the gulag (one of the two locations where the victims are held), and then, possibly due to the manipulations of Laura Pritchard, to the farmhouse (the other location).

Luckily for her, Reese noticed Ostler in the parking lot through the window beforehand and managed to shoot a quick plea toward her latest clients before being kidnapped.
