Real-life Events

World of Darkness Events

  • 1994
    • Jonathan Lewis writes in his journal about his time with his fellow Arcanum Neophytes. He writes about the time they spent the night in a haunted house, and the "camping trip" where they were abandoned in the Blue Ridge Mountains.[1]
  • 2003
    • Lynchburg, Virginia's police station has been inundated by reports from terrified motorists who report that the nearby town of Roanoke has vanished from the face of the earth. Travellers on Highway 220 report that a strange, low-lying fog blankets the area. Cell phones will not function in the region, and radios emit an eerie sound that witnesses describe as the "howls of the damned." Several reports also included sighting vehicles stopped at various points along the highway with their lights on, doors open and engines running, but no sign of their owners.[2]

Trinity Universe Events

  • 2001
    • Talk radio's Jordan McDevitt Show invites listeners to weigh in on the topic of "legal restrictions for novas, good idea or bad precedent?" Dan from Philadelphia is glad T2M did an end-run around the law to cripple the New York Mafia; Richard in New Jersey is equally happy about that, but less sanguine about what happens when (not if, but when) T2M decides to enforce much tighter codes of behavior, on ordinary citizens. [3]
  • 2015
    • Inspector Bart Chun, a member of the Sydney PD who works as a double-agent inside triads, is discovered to be a triple-agent, secretly working for the triads against the police.[5]
