Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain is a Demon Art of the Kuei-jin. The user channels his P'o to protect himself against damage. The Demon revels in pain, even its own; by drawing from its strength and rage, Kuei-jin practitioners of this Discipline ignore or resist injury, even from magic, fire, and sunlight. Iron Mountain has many superficial similarities to the Kindred discipline of Fortitude.

Official Abilities

There are no individual powers for Iron Mountain until level 6. At that point characters may choose to gain additional soak dice or learn a unique power. Included below are the official powers described in the Kindred of the East Companion. Sources are described below in the order they were printed.

Advanced Powers

    • Flaying the Demon: The Kuei-jin suffers no wound penalties
    • Torturous Transcendence: The Kuei-jin can translate pain into Demon Chi to fuel his P'o
    • Striking The Fire: The Kuei-jin can soak aggravated damage like fire or sunlight
    • Exalted Resilience Of The Heavenly: If the Kuei-jin is mortally wounded and still conscious, he can still function by calling upon his Demon Chi.
