Mark (CofD)
Mark is a member of the Lads, a group of American tourists in Tokyo searching for a good story to take back home.
Overview
Obsessed with his (rather faulty) views on Japanese culture, Mark wants nothing more than to be admired by the locals. Of course, considering all his views on Japan come from white people whose works he has read, this is rather unlikely. In truth, the locals are all laughing at him, however politely, which Mark finds infuriating. All the same, he is more of a well-meaning buffoon — a far less malicious sort than his companions, Gary and Stephanie.
