Miasma

The Miasma was a bizarre interplay of Azoth and Glamour that pervaded the Wonders of the ancient Hellenistic world. These Wonders, in what was known as the Web of Seven, released a torrent of the energies, marking the sites as prime gathering places for Promethean and changeling alike.

This caused the two groups to interact with one another far more than had occurred at any other point in history.

The Miasma did not last forever, however. Its effects began to wane in 226 BCE, when earthquakes struck down the Colossus of Rhodes. Over the following years, the torrent faded into a trickle. It is unknown whether the Prometheans born of that time, the Colossoi, achieved the New Dawn or crumbled away; it is known, however, that the Huntsmen, minions of the True Fae, began attacking in unprecedented numbers, ushering in an era of suffering for the Lost.
