Vilseduire

The Vilseduire are a bloodline of clans Daeva and Nosferatu. A destructive, violent faction of the All Night Society, the Tempters force mortals to face the worst in themselves, reveling in the horror that follows in their wakes. Unrepentant hedonists, these vampires bring others into their thrall with the promise of ever-escalating debauchery, drawing on their parent clans' talents for terror and seduction in equal measure.

In covenants, the Devils push ideologies to horrible extremes. In the Carthian Movement they are bloody anarchists with no regard for strategy; in the Circle of the Crone their rituals resemble mass murders; in the Ordo Dracul their unethical experiments make even the eldest Kogaions grow pale; and in the Invictus their drive for selfish, petty power affords them considerable sway (for a time). Only the Sanctified won't have them as a matter of course, though some Vilseduire infiltrate the Church to undermine its goals.

History

The Tempters have many tales of their origins, partly because no one wants to accept the blame. An Ordo Dracul experiment in crossbreeding, a ghoul Embrace gone wrong, a disastrous posthumous Embrace — the stories are nigh infinite in variation and grotesquery. The bloodline itself tells revisionist myths of the gorgon sisters, or point to a Kindred noble who made his pointless, violent exhibitionism into a nihilistic philosophy. A third story speaks of sailors tempted by sweet voices from the depths, who returned to land to fill the hollows left in their souls.

Bane

Vilseduire suffer the Ablative Curse. In addition to only ever having one Touchstone, Tempters are less able to stave off Humanity loss in general. As such, these vampires live out very short Requiems before they fall to the Beast.
