Wyrd (Contracts)

The Contract of Wyrd is a Goblin Contract among the Lost that is universally accessible for Changelings of all Seemings.

The contracts of Wyrd count among the oldest and most potent bargains between Faerie and the Wyrd. As such, the risks are higher, and the Wyrd is known to punish incompetent users of this contract.

Abilities

  • Mantle Mask - The Changeling alters the cosmetic effect of his Mantle, by decorating his skin with a symbol of the appropiate Court.
  • Daunting Force - By blemishing a weapon, the Changeling can use the force of the Wyrd to intimidate someone.
  • Nothing Hidden - After burning the feather of a keen sighted bird and levigating the ashes on his eyelids, the Changeling can see the presence of the supernatural more clearly.
  • Wyrd's Eye - By breaking a pair of prescription eyeglasses, the Changeling's senses become more attuned to the Wyrd, allowing him to sense unconcealed Contracts, to act under no Clarity penalties and gain bonuses to attempts to search for Glamour-imbued objects.
  • The Fatal Clause - If the Changeling has been targeted by a Contract he's equally skilled in, he can use this clause to nullify it.
