NOTE: "The synonymy published by Shaw (1957) is best ignored, as the author didn't appreciate the distinct differences in the male genitalia" (Kuschel, 1990: 69). Since Kuschel lists Eucolaspis colorata and Eucolaspis picticornis explicitly as valid species, Wikispecies follow him herein, but retain the other nominal species as synonyms until such time as they are explicitly reinstated.
