Euglyphis sommeri
Taxonavigation
Taxonavigation: Lasiocampoidea |
---|
Superregnum: Eukaryota |
Familia: Lasiocampidae
Subfamilia: Poecilocampinae
Tribus: Macromphaliini
Genus: Euglyphis
Species: Euglyphis sommeri
Name
Euglyphis sommeri Draudt, 1927.
Type locality: No locality data.
Syntypes: ZMB. Described on 3 male syntypes, coll. Sommer.
Notes:
- Draudt in Seitz indicates that the specimen figured in Seitz plates does not belong to the 3 syntypes, is larger, with brighter colors, and originates from Brazil, Sao Paulo, coll. Hopp (Charlottenburg). Belonging of this figured specimen to the same species than the 3 syntypes is therefore questionable.
- Durand (2023) redescribed E. sommeri based on one of the syntypes and a 'fresher" specimen (?) from Sao Paulo, without designating a lectotype, and erroneously considering the specimen as holotype. It is not specified to which specimen belong the figured genitalia.
