Type locality: USA: Oregon, 1 mile N Siskiyou National Forest, along south fork.
Typus: Syntypes ♀ and larva, USNM, 09/10-I–1917, leg. E.R. Sasscer. (from seeds of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (A. Murray) Parl. (Cupressaceae) collected September, 1916)
